Saarländischer Rundfunk, Saarbrücken: Unser Ding

In 2007 ZOPYX generated a CMS system based on Plone for the youth radio station Unser Ding of the Saarlänischer Rundfunk. The standard functions of Plone have been expanded by radio specific expansions such as a highly scalable media data base to manage images, audio files, videos and other huge files. Since October of 2007 the application is running on high performance and without errors while utilizing only a minimum of hardware. This website is one of the few radio station websites in the world which run on open source. Compared to commercial solutions for radio stations, Plone is very cost-saving, highly flexible, independent from producers and is a safe and appropriate investment.
In March of 2008 Unser Ding´s website has been redesigned and relaunched.
